NEW YORK, March 2, 2010 – With presentations from Unilever, Sony Music, Facebook and more, the 3rd Digital Media Measurement and Pricing will take place on Wednesday, April 7th and Thursday, April 8th, 2008 in New York City. The summit will serve as a forum for top advertisers and agencies from across North America to get answers on how to best invest digital marketing dollars.
According to Forrester Research, interactive marketing spending in the US will near $55 billion by 2014. This represents 21% of all marketing spend as marketers shift dollars away from traditional media and toward channels such as mobile, social, search and display.
Uncertainty in measurement, however, is a major issue for the marketing community. A recent survey senior marketers in the US and UK found that 50% were “somewhat confident” in tracking the right online metrics and 12% were “not confident.” The research was conducted by Bloomberg BusinessWeek Research Services in conjunction with Coremetrics.
“Our conversations with agency and brand leaders indicate a need for more knowledge on pricing attributes as well as metrics to enhance optimization,” said Christie Liu, head of production and research at Strategy Institute who is organizing the event.
